Throughout her career as a physician, Dr. Shirley Press has written various articles in medical journals on the topics of pediatrics and adolescent medicine. Other works by Dr. Press, as a contributing author, include book chapters in two American Academy of Pediatrics publications. Aside from her book and medical articles, Dr. Press enjoys writing Letters to the Editor some of which have been published in The New York Times and Miami Herald. In 2005, she also wrote a heartfelt tribute to her late cousin, the radical feminist writer, Andrea Dworkin.
